Kreative erhverv som vækstdriver

Konference, 27. september 2016 på Christiansborg, kl. 10.00 - 16.00

Region Midtjylland og Aarhus 2017 ønsker for andet år i træk at sætte vækst gennem kreative erhverv på den nationale dagsorden. Konferencen A More Creative Denmark afholdes i år i Folketingets Fællessal på Christiansborg.

Creative industries as drivers for growth

Conference, September 27th 2016, Copenhagen 10.00am - 4.00pm

Central Denmark Region and Aarhus 2017 wants to put growth through creative industries on the national agenda. Therefore, you are invited to the second annual conference A More Creative Denmark. This year the conference is held at the Danish Parliament, Christiansborg.

The creative industries are one of the future drivers of growth in Denmark. There is more than what is equivalent to 85,000 full-time employments in the creative industries and the annual sales are approximately 280 billion DKK. This means that the creative industries represents 9% of the total turnover and employment in Danish industry. The creative industries have shown significant growth rates over the past decade - even during the crisis. The trend is expected to continue in the coming years.

But we can do even better. The creative industries are to realize their full potential. If the creative industries to a greater extent should provide the power of innovation to production-Denmark, and contribute more to solutions to our societal challenges, then we have to work strategically and we must ensure the right conditions and framework for the creative industries.

The conference A More Creative Denmark features presentations by national and international experts and the conference is aimed at politicians, leaders and decision makers in municipalities, regions and ministries et al. and partly also for business leaders from creative and wider industries.

Reserve the date now. You will get the latest knowledge from both practitioners and experts and you are invited to take part in the dialogue between the business level and the political level.
